Many, Many moons ago, after 3 years of college and no degree to my name I left and married a great musician, band/music director and friend. Steve and I settled down on the west side of Michigan. We have 3 amazing children. Our daughter Charlotte is finishing high school and are 2 sons, Andrew and Matthew are finishing college and getting ready to jump into the world.
I made a career out of selling jewelry. I ventured on a journey of Stage 2 B Breast Cancer in October of 05. I am so thankful that I can share my story of fear, uncertainty, courage, faith and healing with others who find themselves on the cancer path.
I fell in love with the music of Pulse FM while on my cancer journey just looking for something positive to fill my mind so Satan couldn't get in. I love the mission of LeSea Broadcasting. Agreeing to be my mentor, Corey invited me to join the morning show in May 2011. Who would have thought 3 years later that I would be chatting and sitting with greats like Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Need to Breathe, Josh Wilson, Brit Nicole, Amy Grant and many others? I love the fact that music is a great universal language that can reach down into the depths of our souls and help us feel peaceful, encouraged, healed and loved. Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous...do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
This was my new look just 18 days after my first chemo treatment. In July of 2006 after 15 chemos, 33 radiation treatments and multiple surgeries I was told they couldn't find anymore cancer. That day I claimed my freedom from cancer!
Blessings to all-
