A Prayer shared by Pastor Mark Lantz of Christian Center Church
God, we know the world around us seems to be immersed in a foreboding sense of darkness and negativity…but we pray that we as your people would shine the light of the hope of Jesus Christ into the darkness of this world around us. No matter how spiritually dark it may seem – the light of hope always shines brighter to break through the darkness.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
We pray together for the power of the Holy Spirit to move on this region – we pray for a newfound hope to rise within us that will bring revival to this region. We refuse to look at the political or economic climate to bring us hope – we fasten our eyes on that which is unseen as our source of spiritual hope. Again we are reminded in Your Word.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
We as Your people possess access into the power of the Holy Spirit through the power of prayer – and we join together and pray for Hope to be restored to Michiana and our surrounding region.
