Father’s Day Bach Concert

St. Joseph First UMC 2950 Lakeview Ave., St. Joseph

Join us for this concert showcasing the beautiful music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Our Chancel Choir, area singers and a chamber orchestra will be performing “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”. Other works included: A duet with tenor Andrew Fisher and soprano Megan Laine… An orchestra performance of the first movement of the Piano concerto in D minor featuring Esther Kraus on the piano… Brandenburg Concerto no. 4 featuring Wendy Willis and Meredy Roorda on flutes. The first half concludes with “My Spirit Be Joyful” featuring Charles Stuck and Jordon Young on trumpets. The second half will be the “Magnificat” featuring various soloists. We offer this music in the spirit of joy and thankfulness to God.
